Renting Process
Register with Farr O’Neil to be the first to know about all rental properties as and when they become available. Otherwise, all our properties are advertised on Rightmove and Onthemarket, and in most cases we will have the keys available for immediate viewing. Once you have found a suitable property we will require a holding deposit to secure the rental whilst references are taken. These usually only take a couple of days to finalise, and then we can start to work out the finer points of the tenancy agreement, commencement date, and the like.
Our Tenant Fees
- Security Deposit - A sum equivalent to five week’s rent - The security deposit to be paid by the terms of the tenancy agreement, and held by the Deposit Protection Scheme.
- Holding Deposit - a refundable holding deposit (to reserve a property) capped at no more than 1 week’s rent
- Unpaid Rent / Returned payments - Interest at 3% above Bank of England Base Rate from due date, once over 14 days in arrears
